INZO - a Bad Night!

INZO lost a star or two based on my last visit.  Things started out bad right from the start.  My brother was given a girl coloring sheet.  Our host noticed his mistake but pretended nothing was wrong.  We had to get another sheet because my brother wouldn't color on it and neither would I!

As for the food... our Shirley Temples were lacking cherries.  The Caprese Salad looked sad.  The mozzarella and tomatoes were not fresh and it looked like I helped cut them back in the kitchen.  My mom was not a big fan of her Eggplant Parmigiana (I can't imagine anyone who would actually want to eat eggplant!  Yuck!  But she does.)  She said it was soggy and greasy.  She took a few bites and then just ate the pasta that came with it.  My brother's Alfredo was also on the greasy side.  My pizza was okay and my dad said he liked the special they were having that day.

Kind of a let down cause we really liked everything about INZO last time.  We've only been twice now, so we will have to try again, but not anytime soon. -The Blackwell Boys

Comments:  We love this place!!  We would eat here just about everyday if it were closer to our house.  All the food is fresh and tastes so good.  It seems like all meals are $10 or less, so you can take your family out to eat and it won't cost a fortune and it'll be a lot healthier and tastier than some other fast food options.  And if you haven't had Canes soda yet, you should stop what you are doing and go to Modmarket now and get some.  Canes soda is the best soda you will ever taste. -The Blackwell Boys

Comments:  Very flavorful snowcones.  They use lots of syrup.  My parents, as usual, ordered us the smallest size possible, but to our surprise, it was pretty big.  My dad was extremely suprised/happy about the low price of our tasty treats.  I'm glad; now we can come back again and again and again. -The Blackwell Boys

Comments:  If you are looking for an Italian restaurant that's yum, go to Inzo's.  Their pizza is good and their servers are super nice.  And if you're crazy like my mom, they have food other than pizza you can eat... things like pasta, subs, salads, and all sorts of stuff.  This place is definitely several steps up from your average pizza chain.  And when you are done eating you are just a short stroll away from a pie/dessert store or a ice cream/candy store.  Sounds like pretty good dinner plans to me! -The Blackwell Boys

Comments:  Be prepared to be amused if you order off the kid's menu here.  I highly suggest forgetting it exists.  If you choose not to follow my warning, your parents will have to give you some of their food just as they did for my brother and me.  Jacob and I both ordered the Kid's Pancakes with Bacon (3 teeny, tiny pancakes each just slightly larger than a quarter - we all laughed when they came out - the one piece of bacon looked HUGE next to them!).  My mom gave us each one of her pancakes leaving her only one.  Although the pancakes are very good, we all went home hungry and wanting more. -The Blackwell Boys

Comments:  Yes, I would say this is one of the best places in the world.  Candy is everywhere.  They have everything.  They even have ice cream.  They have candy I have never even heard of.  My mom and dad laugh over candy they grew up eating.  They have giant Gummy Bears.  They have lolly pops almost bigger than my head.  They have candy with bugs in them!  (I'm not sure if they were real bugs or not cause there was no way I was going to find out for sure, but they looked pretty real to me.)  The next time I come, I'm bringing my wallet (this way I can get what I want!). -The Blackwell Boys

Comments:  Ok, I'm going to have to go back and take another look at the floor.  I don't remember it looking the way it does in the picture and I'm pretty sure I wasn't standing in the middle of a gigantic ice cream spill.  I could have been; there were lots of tasty treats to check out.  My mom thinks their fudge is the best she has ever had.  To this day she has only tried the Maple Walnut cause it's her favorite and she has to get it every time.  The cookies are good, and my dad always gets the peanut patties and the cowboy cookies and he has his eyes on the pies. -The Blackwell Boys
